Kim Kardashian Robbery May Have Been an Inside Job, Duh

It was unclear where Kardashian West was at the time she learned the news. The suspects ranged in age from 23 to 72, and included several known for prior robberies and other crimes, according to a police document seen by The Associated Press.

French daily newspaper Le Monde reports that one of the people in custody is a chauffeur with the luxury vehicle company that the Kardashians were using at the time, and that he was the person who drove Kim home on the night of her robbery.

The prosecutor's office said a ring worth an estimated 4 million euros ($4.5 million) and a jewelry box with contents worth about 5 million euros ($5.6 million) were stolen.

Meanwhile, there is said to be hope that Kim may be able to get her engagement ring back now the robbers have been arrested.

The French Interior Ministry has said five men threatened the concierge at the hotel mansion where Kardashian was staying with a weapon, handcuffed him and forced him to open the private apartment.

"Their homes have been searched from top to bottom, and so has a jewellery shop in Paris which is also linked to them". After months of the Paris police telling her how unlikely it was that they'd find any suspects, authorities have finally apprehended the potential culprits, with one of them being much closer to the Kardashian family than anyone could have imagined.

DNA left at the scene proved crucial to the investigation, one police official told Agence France-Presse.

She has mostly since kept a low public profile but broke her silence on the robbery in a promotional clip for the upcoming season of her reality TV show "Keeping Up With the Kardashians", which was released on Friday. They also believe other suspects 'may have been in contact with the Kardashian family'.

The majority of the suspects are reportedly seasoned criminals known by French police, largely for crimes such as armed robberies and drug and counterfeit trafficking. Do you think this will change if she gets her jewelry back? After all, had she not been so open with her fans about what she was doing and where she was going, thieves couldn't have tracked her down, right?

"As time went on, she realised that she actually loved her slower life".
