Man in Photo is Suspect

Law enforcement officers obtained a search warrant for a home in Delphi Thursday night, but they found nothing of value that could pertain to the investigation, state police said.

"He's not just someone we want to talk to; we consider him a suspect in these murders", Sgt. "He's going to be our main suspect at this time". "It's the totality of the evidence we've been developing so far that leads us to that", he said.

"The photo appears to depict a white male wearing blue jeans, a blue coat/jacket, and a hoodie", police stated.

The bodies of two missing IN girls found IN the woods near a creek have been identified, and their deaths are being investigated as a double homicide, authorities said February 15, 2017. The teens had planned to go hiking on the trails during a day off school in Delphi, a community of about 3,000 people some 60 miles northwest of Indianapolis.

Families and friends are saying goodbye to the Delphi girls who were killed while hiking in Carroll County last week.

When Liberty German and Abigail Williams were reported missing last Monday, authorities initially did not suspect foul play.

The paper said that the downtown area of the small city overflowed with motorcycles and cars, who registered for $20 per driver and $5 per passenger to ride from Office Tavern Bar in Delphi to Whiskey and Wine Saloon in Monticello, and that the funds were split between the families of the two victims.

Saturday's turnout was greater than anyone expected, which prompted Jennifer Segal to state, "We're kind of overwhelmed, but it's a great overwhelmed".
