I'm in love! The great thing about this latest trailer for Wonder Woman is that it doesn't feel like it's giving too much of the plot or action sequences away. The film's star, Gal Gadot, premiered the trailer on Saturday night at the Nickelodeon Kids' Choice Awards.
Here's the synopsis: 'Before she was Wonder Woman, she was Diana, princess of the Amazons, trained to be an unconquerable warrior. Later on her origin changed to become the daughter of Zeus, raised by Hippolyta and aunts Antiope and Menalippe. Later, she meets Steve Trevor, played by Chris Pine, who washes up on the shores of their island and asks her for help to save mankind. Its first three movies have earned a lot of money at the Box Office, but critical and fan reception remains divided.
Wonder Woman was the highlight of last year's otherwise underwhelming Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice. Her time there appears eventful, shall we say, as she's embroiled in plenty of battling. She'll show you otherwise.
Pine also previously shared some details about the upcoming movie.
Wonder Woman has been touted as the best DC film that there is. "It's shot beautifully. It feels so wonderfully period, but also with this wonderful pop sensibility", the actor said. It is slated to release June 2, 2017. Let us know what you thought of this exciting trailer! Are they getting the world that Wonder Woman inhabits correct?
"Wonder Woman", starring Gal Godot, Chris Pine, and Robyn Wright, is in United Kingdom cinemas on 2 June. Movie and comic book blogs have reported that a bigger, Olympian villain is ultimately at play, but that reveal is apparently being saved for the final film.
