A new trailer for Doctor Who series ten is now out, and you can check it out.
A lot of it provides a fuller look at moments teased in the previous "Coming Soon" trailer that was attached to last year's Christmas special - such as Bill calling the TARDIS a "kitchen".
The footage of Moffat comes from a never-before-seen bonus feature, "Becoming the Companion", which Fathom Events and BBC America are screening in theaters alongside the season premiere of Doctor Who on April 17 and 19. "The role of companion is as central as the role of the Doctor". In addition, new companion Bill Potts (Pearl Mackie) and returning favourite Nardole (Matt Lucas) also featured.
The first episode of Season 7 of Doctor Who, "Asylum of the Daleks", introduced Who fans to a human Dalek in the form of Clara "Oswin" Oswald (Jenna Coleman).
The Doctor Who television series was created by Sydney Newman and first aired in November of 1963. These new human-Daleks also showed up in Matt Smiths' last episode "The Time of the Doctor", where they possessed the body Tasha Lem.
Capaldi recently announced he is leaving at the end of the year after three seasons. The former "Doctor Who" star was even asked whether he could be back as the Time Lord in the next season, but Tennant clarified that he would not reprise his role in the British sci-fi show. Peter Capaldi's final season as the Doctor premieres on April 15th at 9 PM ET/PT on BBC America, followed by the United States debut of Doctor Who spinoff Class in which Capaldi makes an appearance.
