Some PS4 titles will soon be available on PC

Additionally, a game shop in Kurume Fukuoka posted a tweet saying that it received a notification from Sony that the console's production will end this month.
The news should not really come as a surprise since Sony usually puts a 10-year life expectancy on its consoles, and previous consoles were also discontinued after a decade.
It was on November 2006 that the PS3 was launched in response to Microsoft's Xbox 360 that was released in late 2005.
The researchers IHS Markit had shared data regarding the console market in addition to some expectations for this year 2017 now forwarded underlining how Sony is dominating this particular market.
PlayStation 4 titles will soon be available to play on PC through Sony's PlayStation Now service. On to the official PlayStation Japan website, the page for the PS3 500GB model, the only remaining model in production in Japan, mentions that "shipments are scheduled to end soon", meaning the end of the console's production in the country.
The PS4's dominance of the console market is utter and complete, of a kind that we haven't seen since the days of the PS2.
It is still not certain how this move will impact North America. It also became the home for many hit game franchises over the years, including the Uncharted trilogy, Sly Cooper: Thieves In Time, LittleBigPlanet and The Last of Us, among several others.
Only Nintendo's DS can match Sony's machine in terms of unit sales.
"After thoughtful consideration, we made a decision to shift our focus and resources to PS4 and Windows PC to further develop and improve the user experience on these two devices".
Announced via the PlayStation Blog, the game streaming service will expand the catalogue to include PS4 titles, but it doesn't say when.
