'The Walking Dead' season 8: These three characters will have larger roles

While many complained that The Walking Dead was moving too slowly, unlike it has in previous years, the events eventually culminated in the season finale, which mark the set up for the plot going into season 8: all-out war.

Season 7 of AMC's The Walking Dead may have just come to an end, but news about season 8, which isn't slated to premiere until October, has already begun rolling in. Series showrunner Scott Gimple previously said that the season will see Rick and company battling to preserve the very fragile civilization they have established. Entertainment One manages all global television and home entertainment sales for the show outside of North America and the AMC channels globally. It's not much of a surprise to hear Ogg and Nacon get the upgrade - their characters have been trending up for a while - but McIntosh is an interesting one.

Are you excited to see more of Simon, Enid, and Jadis on "The Walking Dead"? Losing three big characters from the show has created a gap, but never fear, replacements are on the way... Pollyanna McIntosh, who plays the laconic Scavengers head honcho, has been upped to series regular for Season 8 of the AMC blockbuster series, along with Steven Ogg and Katelyn Nacon.


Although the Nick and Luciana are alive in the Season 3 premiere, things are not looking good for them.

Madison's son is only a few miles from his mother, but Nick's first action as a leader saw him and Luciana ambushed by an American militia group - the couple escaped death, Luciana was shot, and Nick no longer feels immortal.

Elsewhere, in Season 3 of "Fear The Walking Dead, " Ofelia (Mercedes Mason) needs to muster the savagery of her father if she wants to survive.
