In a letter to Sony, the claimant's attorney detailed alleged harassment his client had faced.
Music industry veteran L.A. Reid has parted ways with Epic Records after accusations of sexual harassment.
While it has not been clear if Sony's investigation into the matter has determined whether the allegations are factual, Billboard reported a rep from Reid's camp saying that the letter had inaccuracies.
Reid, who is married, also made comments about what clothes he liked her to wear and described her as looking "fine", the letter claims.
Sony Musictold the Daily News the company had no comment.
According to the New York Post, a female assistant at Epic Records has accused Reid of sexual harassment.
Now, the focus becomes a little bit clearer as to why Reid was ousted. In Hip-Hop, Reid can claim the most successful acts of the genre with chart topping LPs from Travis Scott, Future and DJ Khaled, whose "I'm The One" record now holds the Billboard Hot 100's number one spot.
Reid is considered one of music's top tastemakers and previous year released a memoir that recounted a who's who of famous artists with whom he has worked. Before that, as head of LaFace, Arista and Island Def Jam, he was instrumental in developing the careers of such acts as TLC, Mariah Carey, Rihanna, Kanye West and more in his capacity.
