The actor was arrested early Sunday morning (June 18, 2017), as he was literally falling down drunk and refusing to cooperate with the police.
According to the outlet, the 30-year-old actor seemed visibly intoxicated, almost falling into the street and having difficulty standing in one place. He was then placed in handcuffs, but he still had trouble standing up straight.
The officer approached the actor, who cops say appeared to have bloodshot eyes, was swaying side to side and was slurring his words. After Teller allegedly refused to cooperate with this option, he was arrested on a charge of public intoxication and taken to jail.
The Whiplash star reportedly remained in jail for four hours until he was released without bail. As previously reported, the impact caused his Bronco truck to flip over. The cop offered to take Miles there but we're told he refused. I hope the other passengers are as well. "This woman's irrational and ignorant decision put our lives and her passengers in very real danger".
Teller's rep and attorney didn't immediately respond to requests for comment. He was able to walk away from the crash without injury.
