Sergio Ramos 'hopes' Neymar leaves Barcelona

Ernesto Valverde said that Barcelona were "counting on Neymar" and says that he can help the team this year after his side beat Real Madrid 3-2 in the first Clásico in the United States on Saturday night.

Neymar has been strongly linked with a move to Paris Saint-Germain in recent weeks, with some reports suggesting he could be on his way to France in the coming days.

Atletico Madrid's Antoine Griezmann is a less likely option while Barcelona could also consider Angel Di Maria and Julian Draxler amid suggestions that PSG are keen to offer them as part of Neymar's deal. Ramos, who is known as a genuine hater of the Catalan club, openly stated that he would love to face Barcelona without Neymar the next time. Everyone is free to decide their own future.

"I told him one thing, which is to be courageous, as this world is for the fearless".

NEYMAR has fuelled speculation that he has played in his last El Clasico after spending 15-minutes in Real Madrid's dressing room.

'I told him one thing, which is to be fearless, as this world is for the courageous. "I think he is a great player and a key man for Barcelona - it's up to him to decide his future".

"I changed shirts with him and hopefully it's his last one with Barcelona".

Speaking after netting a stunning free-kick in PSG's Trophee des Champions win over Monaco, Alves said: 'I speak with him every day, but not always about football.

But Barca should have been out of sight on the balance of play as Neymar shot wide after being played through by Luis Suarez off a counter-attack, while Messi fired straight at Navas from six yards after leaving the Madrid defence trailing.
