Two albums by Linkin Park re-entered the top 10 on the United States sales chart on Tuesday as fans mourned the death of frontman Chester Bennington.
According to Rolling Stone, during the days leading up to his death some friends noted that Chester seemed happy while other said that the singer's dark side still lurked and overshadowed the positive aspects of his life. "It's a very special song to us and I think to most people, and especially to Toni as well".
The song is particularly meaningful because it's the one that Bennington himself performed at Cornell's funeral in May, so the fact that Toni was able to get through it is a testament to her strength.
On July 20, Chester Bennington was found dead by hanging in his L.A. home.
Toni and her sister, 17-year-old Lillian Jean, penned letters to their father after his death.
"I can't imagine a world without you in it". You are my idol, someone I've always looked up to.

An emotionally wrought "Hybrid Theory" standout, "In the End" is frequently hailed as the band's best song.
The third single off "Meteora", "Numb" was a hit in its own right.
While no one can replace Linkin Park and Chester's vocals, this was a stunning performance that I'm sure both he and Chris would be proud of. He also found success outside the band with his solo music and the bands Audioslave and Temple of the Dog.
