MIAMI DOLPHINS Star Jarvis Landry Under Investigation!

A decision on charges against Jarvis is not expected to come this week.

The Miami Dolphins are aware that wide receiver Jarvis Landry is reportedly under investigation for possible battery, head coach Adam Gase told reporters on Monday.

The alleged incident was reported to police shortly before 10:30 p.m. on April 1, according to the incident report's cover sheet. "It involves Landry's girlfriend", Slater reports.

Apparently, she's not cooperating with police (not entirely shocking given where her money is coming from), but authorities aren't looking to just drop it altogether.

Landry and his girlfriend are now involved in an open paternity case as well.

Landry has not yet been faced with charges from the Broward County State Attorney's Office. Yes, we are going through a civil family court case and emotions are high, but I would like to make it very clear that Jarvis would never, ever do anything to harm me or anyone else. After the season, Landry was named to the AFC Pro Bowl team for the second straight year.

The athlete of 24 years has got 1136 yards gains via the pass and four touchdowns last season.

He has 288 career receptions for 3,051 yards for the Dolphins.

Landry and the Dolphins have been discussing a contract extension this offseason but have not reached an agreement.
