Ron Howard Posting Clues About the Han Solo Movie

Details on the Untitled Han Solo Star Wars Story's plot are now unknown, though the film will chronicle the adventures of the smuggler during his youth and will include his first meeting with Chewbacca and how he came to possess the Millennium Falcon. The film has been in production for just over six months and is on its second director, as Ron Howard took over for Phil Lord and Christopher Miller following their firing in June.

Written by Lawrence Kasdan and son Jon Kasdan, The Untitled Han Solo Star Wars Story stars Alden Ehrenreich, Woody Harrelson, Emilia Clarke, Donald Glover, Thandie Newton, Phoebe Waller-Bridge, Joonas Suotamo, Michael K. Williams and Ian Kenny.

After weeks of turmoil and the departure of two directors, the spin-off of Star Wars devoted to Han Solo did his best to make us forget his woes.

In Howard's picture, you can see a helmet worn Death Star troopers placed on some kind of a control panel.

Of course, since the Han Solo standalone film takes place before the original "Star Wars" trilogy, the Death Star would still be under construction at this point. "Things are a little rough all over the Galaxy", Howard captioned the clip. Regardless, it looks like the Empire's threat is ever-present.

Clearly, something went wrong, and it's certainly possible that Han Solo and Chewbacca were involved somehow, or perhaps all this destruction had something to do with Lando Calrissian?

According to what is now called "Legends" or the Extended Universe, Han Solo once served for the Empire, /Film reports. The Han Solo movie supposedly flies into theatres May 25 2018.
