New STAR WARS: THE LAST JEDI Lego Sets Revealed for Force Friday

On the night, the Disney Store will have exclusive giveaways, competitions and first-look product demos, so you could even come dressed as your favourite Star Wars character if you wanted. Maybe you'd like a two-pack of Admiral Ackbar and an unnamed First Order Officer can only be bought at Toys R Us. Customers will be able to use the Star Wars apps on their phones to scan QR codes on in-store, life-size displays of characters from "The Last Jedi".

Available only at The Disney Store, this line of metallic, poseable 6-inch action figures will return for The Last Jedi. As for The Last Jedi, itself, you'll need to wait for that to hit theaters on December 15. The #BeJediReady events will come nearly a year to the day after Walmart started an earlier-than-usual holiday layaway program in advance of the December 2016 theatrical release of series spin-off "Star Wars: Rogue One".

BB-9E, then, is primed to be the Boba Fett of The Last Jedi - a character so inherently, implicitly cool from his appearance that fans will eagerly embrace him (her? it?) and spend years writing fanfic explaining that adoration in slavish, intricate detail. We're especially excited as these include some brand new characters who have yet to appear on screen or in mini-fig form, as well as some never-before-seen vehicles. You read where he is now and what he's doing now and sort of have to fill in the blanks for yourself. We don't know much more about BB-9E except that he's probably Kylo Ren's sidekick.

Target will hold a raffle for a special "Star Wars: The Last Jedi" plush.

For any kid who has every wanted to build their own droid but doesn't have the parts to do so, this little Droid Inventor Kit from LittleBits should do the trick. In the new canon, Luke continues to work for the Alliance to Restore the Republic as the Empire claims that reports of Darth Vader and Emperor Palpatine's death are propaganda.

There's also a really sweet 1,106-piece BB-8 set, a 1,376-piece First Order Heavy Assault Walker, and buildable figures of Rey, Chewbacca, an Elite TIE Fighter Pilot, and an Elite Praetorian Guard.
