Xbox One to support keyboard and mouse controls soon

Now available bundles include the 1TB Forza Horizon 3 and Halo Wars 2 bundles, and the just released 500GB Madden NFL 18 pack.

In lighter news, Microsoft discontinued the production of the original Xbox One.

Participating retailers including Amazon, Best Buy, Microsoft Store, Target, GameStop, and everyone's favourite, Walmart.

"Xbox One X will bring true 4K gaming to console players for the first time with 40 percent more power than any other console", said Mike Nichols, Corporate Vice President and Chief Marketing Officer, Xbox, in a statement.

[.] "if you have a competitive game, people are probably going to want the choice to say I'll play with other keyboard and mouse people or I'll play only with controller people, or that I'll play with any of those".

Microsoft's Mike Ybarra recently previewed a few of the Xbox One's forthcoming features.

Ybarra added to that statement by saying that they'd look to "coach developers" and help them make decisions with keyboard and mouse support on a game-by-game basis.

Mouse and keyboard support has already shown up in recent Xbox One Insider updates, with the Minecraft Beta supporting it to some degree. The Microsoft speaker gave the example of competitive games specifically by saying that players would likely appreciate the chance to have a choice between using a controller or the new option, a decision that they hope to keep in players' hands.

There is a buzz that the mouse and keyboard for Xbox are coming soon features for Xbox for a while.

Greenberg then talked about a newly-announced partnership with Samsung, and the TV manufacturer is going to be promoting Xbox One X "everywhere they go", including their ads.
