Janet Jackson promises she's planning "something special" for victims of Hurricane Harvey

Jackson flashed her megawatt smile as she mingled with the crowd who were all excited to see the So Excited singer.

Janet Jackson is known for her composure and calm demeanor, but the new mom had a rare emotional moment during her latest concert in Houston, Texas. Fans got loud as she also performed the newest dance craze the Milly Rock while performing "Nasty" and even mixed in Cardi B's "Bodak Yellow" with her own hit "What Have You Done for Me Lately". "/What about the times you kept on when I said, "No more please" / What about those things?" The track's lyrics, which outline an abusive relationship, seemed to make a particular impression as Jackson goes through divorce proceedings with estranged husband Wissam Al Mana.

Either way, we're sending our love and support for Janet as she continues embarking on her tour and slaying first-time motherhood.

She kicked off her State of the World Tour in Lafayette, Louisiana on Thursday night (07Sep17), returning to the stage for the first time since becoming a mum. "My husband and I are planning our family, so I'm going to have to delay the tour".

She did not perform "What About" at the concerts she gave before her maternity hiatus. The moment came after her performance of the song "What About", from her 1997 album "The Velvet Rope".

She previously announced plans to arrive in the city early so she can meet victims of the natural disaster and help with relief efforts.

She flaunted her thin figure in perfectly sized outfits as she moved and sang in exhibitions much the same as her past, high-vitality shows.
