Sony Introduces The PlayStation Credit Card

Sony is updating its PlayStation VR headset with a new version that brings small but necessary changes to the hardware. Users will be able to enjoy HDR compatible PS4 content on a TV without having to disconnect the Processor Unit. Unlike the old PSVR which debuted previous year, the new design does not require users to disconnect in order to view HDR content. In addition to this, there's also a streamlined connection cable.

There's no details on when exactly it will release in the USA or any other region, as the blog says they will "share details on the launch timing in North America at a later date", but the pricing of PSVR and its bundles will remain the same.

Here's everything you need to know about Sony's virtual reality headset, from price and features to its growing lineup of immersive games. However, the experience is not complete until you buy the PS VR headset because it takes gaming to the next level by immersing you into the world the designers have created.

The headset now features a more ergonomic design, with the headphone jack now in the back of the band rather than on the front of the unit, making for a neater appearance and better cord management.

However, its main piece of advice was to tell people to look for the change in model number - something that's likely to cause confusion given there's only a single different digit between them.

"With a brand new category of a market, you want a variety of platforms, all doing well to create that rising tide", House told Reuters. The new CECH-ZCM 2 J features a USB port. All of them work with both versions of the headset, and include games like Batman: Arkham VR, Resident Evil 7: Biohazard and Star Trek: Bridge Crew.

In a blog post, Sony said, "It has been nearly a year since the launch of PlayStation VR".
