Google has not mentioned the name of its new smartphones however reports have come in that they will probably be successors to its previous phones. The event on 4th October would be arranged by the company one year later from the launch of its Pixel and Pixel XL phones which impressed us with their better camera sharpness.
Both the Pixel 2 and Pixel XL 2 are expected to run Qualcomm's top-end Snapdragon 835 processor and will be available in 64GB and 128GB storage variants.
The Pixel XL is said to be made by LG, per FCC documents and earlier reports, and this does look similar in design to both the LG G6 and the more recent V30. Both will launch with Oreo on board.
And if that wasn't bad enough for Google he's also published a full set of images of the Pixel 2 and Pixel XL 2.
According to Blass, the smaller of the two, i.e., Pixel would feature a 5-inch 1080p display while Pixel 2 XL would flaunt a 6-inch not completely bezel-less QHD display. According to them, the price for the Google Pixel 2 and Google Pixel 2 XL will start from $650 (RM2750) and $850 (RM3600) respectively.
But since it's right before the final launch of the new Pixel devices, we're getting plenty of leaks to ruin the suspense. However the coolest feature that this phone may offer would be the front-facing stereo speakers for that immersive audio/video experience. There will also be some new new features like a squeezable frame and a new option to always listen for music in the background and display song information on the lock screen.
While prices will likely be more expensive in the Great White North, Droid Life reports that the Pixel 2 will be priced at $649/$749 United States dollars ($812/$937 CAD) depending on either the 64GB or 128GB variant.
