'Weak motherf--r': This is the target Lonzo Ball faces all season

However, the first game of his National Basketball Association career did not go as planned as he only scored 3 points in the Lakers' 108-92 loss to the Los Angeles Clippers on Thursday night.

To nobody's surprise, LaVar Ball made a decision to get in on the action, commenting on his son's monster game by saying that the Lakers have 49 more to go, referring to his previous statement that Lonzo would lead his team to at least 50 wins in his rookie season.

"They're going to come after him", Laker head coach Luke Walton said Thursday morning, per the Orange County Register.

"Weak ass motherf--r. Bring his ass out on the court with me and I will tear his ass up", Beverley shouted, according to The Undefeated. They want to set a tone and he will see it all year long.

Maybe nobody else will care quite as much about humiliating LaVar Ball by shutting his son down on the court, but Beverley raises a good point.

"Yeah, you shut the m--f-- down", LaVar said. Beverley is not only one of the more, let's be charitable and say intense defenders in the league, he's also precisely the type of guy who would spend all summer looking forward to stuffing Ball into a locker. "'I'll leave it up to you to take him further". He played all a year ago and nobody said nothing about him. So you got to be [all hard]. "But you put my son's name in it and you put my name in it, now you got some action and you got some people talking".

LaVar should worry less about Beverley's intensity, which will remain intact for all Clippers 82 games, and that of Lonzo's matchup night in and night out.
