Trump threw flags of Russian Federation

A progressive activist on Tuesday interrupted President Donald Trump's arrival to Senate Republicans' weekly lunch by throwing Russian flags and shouting, "Trump is treason".

Trump didn't flinch as the airborne flags headed his way, reacting only by giving a thumbs up.

This is not the first time that Clayton has protested Trump with Russian flags, as he handed out Russian flags with "Trump" written on them at the Conservative Political Action Conference.

"This president conspired with agents of the Russian government", he shouted.

He had been waiting among the press pack which gathered to see Trump walking with Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell. "We should be talking about treason, not about tax cuts!".

He was later identified as Americans Take Action's Ryan Clayton.

Congressional panels and special prosecutor Robert Mueller are investigating whether the Trump campaign colluded with what U.S. intelligence agencies have said were unmistakable Russian attempts to help Trump defeat Hillary Clinton in the November election. Clayton said, as several reporters turned around and began recording the outburst.

There is an African proverb that says, "You can go fast alone, or we can go far together".

The congressional intelligence committees and Justice Department are conducting parallel investigations Russia's interference in the 2016 election.
