Despite its eeire name and somewhat spooky atmosphere, there's nothing to suggest that Ghost of Tsushima is a supernatural story.
Sucker Punch has confirmed that the game will be open-world and the trailer hints at a wide variety of environments. The game is set to arrive sometime next year. Set during the period in which the Mongols invaded the island of Tsushima, it's up to you to fight back, though you'll be given some freedom as to how you do it. A quick wiki-search of the date and location hints that the game may be about Japan successfully fending off the Mongol Invasion of Japan which took place during 1274 - 1281.
Ghost of Tsushima was just announced at the Sony Paris Games as the next game from Infamous developer Sucker Punch. The trailer lets us know the stakes for defending the country are high, and we even hear a voice say, "You've trained your whole life for this". That could back-up some older comments from PlayStation executives who stated that they have personally seen what Sucker Punch is working on and are quite excited about it.
Sucker Punch has been responsible for the Infamous series of games and also the much loved Sly Cooper series as well. The studio is widely known for their Infamous franchise with 5 major titles: Infamous, Infamous 2, Infamous: Festival of Blood, Infamous: Second Son and Infamous: First Light.
