Kevin Spacey's name sneaks into 'This Is Us' in Canada

In a Twitter posting Sunday, the Oscar-winning Spacey apologised for behaviour he said he doesn't remember.

"MRC and Netflix have chose to suspend production on House of Cards season six, until further notice, to give us time to review the current situation and to address any concerns of our cast and crew", the two companies said in a statement.

Montana hopes that sharing his story has an impact "not just regarding issues of sexual harassment, but people using power in other threatening manners in Hollywood".

And they had also originally denied that the sordid allegations made against Kevin Spacey are the reason, claiming that it was a decision made "months ago".

Spacey had reportedly been to a production at the Chichester Festival Theatre nearby at the time.

Now 46, Rapp told Buzzfeed: The older I get, and the more I know, I feel very fortunate that something worse didn't happen.

After reading Rapp's story, he chose to come forward to Radar.

Following the allegations against him, Netflix have suspended production on House of Cards - after confirming earlier this week the upcoming sixth season will be the last - and the Old Vic, the London theatre where Spacey was previously artistic director, have set up a confidential complaints process.

The announcement comes a day after Spacey became the subject of sexual misconduct accusations after Star Trek: Discovery's Anthony Rapp alleged that Spacey made sexual advances on him when Rapp was 14 and Spacey was 26.

"He was in his underwear, I was fully clothed", John said.

The cascading fallout for Spacey includes a halt to production on his Netflix series "House of Cards" and the loss of an award he was to be given later this month by the International Academy of Television Arts and Sciences. I still feel what I felt then.

Rapp had also said Spacey was drunk when the incident took place in 1986. Rapp, then 14, was able to get away without any physical harm. I don't know if I would have used that language.

Spacey went on to say that he has "loved and had romantic encounters with men throughout my life and I choose now to live as a gay man". But Sony's TriStar Pictures, which is handling the release, has not commented further on Spacey's involvement, and it's unclear whether he will do any press for the film.

Spacey had not previously been scheduled to work on set on Monday, according to a statement from the companies.

He says he was in the bar working when Spacey showed up with a number of his friends.

Cavazos claims Spacey would invite men to discuss their careers with him, but when they arrived at the theatre for these meetings, they found Spacey had assembled a picnic featuring a bottle of champagne.

"I came forward with my story, standing on the shoulders of the many courageous women and men who have been speaking out, to shine a light and hopefully make a difference, as they have done for me", he said on social media after the interview went viral.
