Federal Bureau of Investigation questioning second man

The FBI said Wednesday it had located a second man that agents were looking to question in connection with the New York City truck attack.

The FBI says it has found Uzbekistan-born Mukhammadzoir Kadirov.

"We are no longer looking for the person the information went out about", Sweeney told a press conference.

Federal prosecutors in NY have already filed terrorism charges against an Uzbek immigrant in the deadly truck attack on a NY bike path identified as 29-year-old Sayfullo Saipov.

According to Heavy.com, records indicate Kadirov lived in both Tampa, Florida, as well as New Jersey, as did Saipov, but not at the same address. The intermediary also said Kadirov notified an unspecified "community advocacy organization" when he realized Saipov was the truck terrorist, and this organization encouraged Kadirov to cooperate with the authorities.

Named as Sayfullo Saipov, the suspect drove a rented truck through a bike path, striking pedestrians and bicyclists, until he crashed into a school bus. An NYPD cop then shot and wounded him. Eight people died, and nine others were injured.

Uzbek immigrant Sayfullo Saipov appeared in the NY federal courthouse Wednesday handcuffed and with his feet shackled.

The wanted poster said anyone with information about the case should call contact the FBI's Toll-Free Tipline at 1-800-CALL-FBI (1-800-225-5324).
