A woman who was seen slapping a police officer as she was carried out of a University of Miami football game has been charged with felony battery on a police officer and misdemeanor disorderly conduct, the Associated Press reported.
The woman, who was at the stadium to watch Miami's victory over Virginia Tech, appeared to have been knocked out following the officer's punch.
After flailing at one officer and missing, the woman then slaps another across the face. His full name has not been released.
The 30-second video has been viewed thousands of times on social media since it was posted Saturday.
Police have not said what led to the woman being removed, if she was intoxicated, or whether or not she was arrested after the incident.
Miami-Dade Police Detective Alvaro Zabaleta said in an email Sunday that the department is examining the video to make sure proper procedures were followed.
Farrington put her daughter's body in the trunk of her 2013 Nissan Altima sedan "for several days", police said, until the smell became so bad that at about 1 a.m. Sunday, she moved the body to the dumpster.
According to an arrest report, officers responded to a section of Hard Rock Stadium after being notified of a disturbance.
Prior to the altercation, she was "arguing with stadium patrons and using profanity in a loud boisterous manner", according to a police affidavit. She was subsequently arrested for Battery on a Law Enforcement Officer and Disorderly Conduct/Breach of the peace.
University of Miami officials said they were aware of the video and were also gathering information.
