OnePlus's CEO, Pete Lau, has already confirmed the phone will have a headphone slot, while his company's own Twitter feed has intimated that the device will launch in NY.

Following a widely circulated report that the soon-to-arrive OnePlus 5T would NOT see a price increase over the RRP of the OnePlus 5, the company's CEO Pete Lau took to Twitter with a statement that could be interpreted as a warning to expect a price increase after all. Some wireless charging pads are being marketed as offering up to 15 watts of power, that is if the smartphone is properly placed on the charging pad.

While wireless charging is quickly becoming the norm for many modern-day smartphones, this technology yet to make its debut on the OnePlus devices. Wireless charging is the standard way that all the tech and smartphone giants such as Samsung, Apple, HTC, and LG have implemented.

Here's what's unusual: Lau is acting like Dash Charge and wireless charging can't co-exist, when they can.

The pricing details of the upcoming OnePlus device recently surfaced and it has now come to light that the phone would be priced in at Rs. 32,999 for the base model. The Chinese OEM has just announced the latest edition of The Lab for OnePlus 5T. The end result is the ability to charge the smartphone within 30 minutes.
