Sony has revealed when the rest of the Jak and Daxter saga will be available on PS4.

Naughty Dog further changed the series by releasing Jak X: Combat Racing in 2005, offering a vehicle racing multiplayer experience.

These three classics will be joining Jak and Daxter: The Precursor Legacy, the first game in the franchise and one that is already available for download via the PlayStation Store.

Suffice it to say; if you're looking for a piece of gaming history, you'll find it with the Jak and Daxter games.

See the official game site here and the announcement here on the PS Blog. In 2003, Naughty Dog gave Jak a voice and added a Morph Gun at his disposal, giving the sequel third-person shooter elements.

So now is a flawless time for fans that played the originals, and for new gamers who never touched a Jak and Daxter game to explore one (or three) of Naughty Dog's older titles. When Jak 3 and Jak X were released, the franchise saw a brand new day unfold in its history.

Together, the entirety of Naughty Dog's Jak and Daxter installments will be playable on the current Sony platform.

Just in time for Christmas, PlayStation fans will be able to complete their PS4 collection of the Jak and Daxter series, as it was announced that Jak II, Jak 3, and Jak X: Combat Racing would release digitally on PS4 next week on December 6th.

By giving Jak a voice, it allowed Naughty Dog to explore new narrative techniques that allowed them to create a grittier world with a much more developed and evolved storyline.
