The Washington Post reports that Leigh Corfman filed a suit Thursday, saying that Moore and his campaign attacked her as a liar when she spoke publicly about her encounter with Moore in 1979.

There has not been any comment yet from Mr. Moore.

Corfman said Moore initiated sexual contact with her when she was 14 years old at Moore's home. Doug Jones a month ago in the exceptional decision to fill Attorney General Jeff Sessions' old seat.

She says he took her out, gave her alcohol, partially undressed her and himself, touched her intimately and made her touch him.

Following his denial, far-right outlet Breitbart and other Moore supporters came to the candidate's defense and attempted to disprove Corfman's account of Moore's behavior.
