Samsung Notebook 7 Spin (2018): Features, Specs Of Touchscreen Laptop

The Notebook 7 Spin (2018) will retain the 360-degree rotating touchscreen from the first generation, apart from adding several new features such as Active Pen, and fingerprint security through Windows Hello. Users who purchase a peripheral Active Pen stylus can then use the device for taking notes or doodling, and fold it back into a traditional notebook form when it's time to get typing. This notebook sports an all-metal aluminium chassis and comes with a battery-free S Pen. There is no update on the pricing of the hybrid laptop.

On the hardware side of things, the Notebook 9 Pen comes in two versions - with a 13.3, or 15-inch screen. The notebook's PLS LCD display measures 13.3-inches diagonally and offers 1920 x 1080 Full HD resolution. Considering its 43 watt-hour battery, this convertible should have respectable battery life. It's also commendable for Samsung to include backlit keyboard, curved keycap and a precise touchpad called Clickpad. At the heart, there is an 8th-generation Intel Core i5 processor clubbed with 8GB RAM and a 256GB of inbuilt storage. On the connectivity front, the Samsung Notebook 7 Spin (2018) supports one USB Type-C port, one USB 3.0 port, one USB 2.0 port, one HMDI port and HP/mic port. Think of its tablet mode as a convenient bonus.

South Korean technology behemoth Samsung has announced its revamped laptops. The Pen itself has a fine, 0.7 mm tip and can recognize 4,096 levels of pressure, which makes it a good tool for artists. It allows you to jot down quick notes in OneNote or Samsung's Notes app. You can use it doodle, write, sketch, and paint. Considering it will be competing against Microsoft's Surface Book series, we expect the Notebook 9 Pen to undercut Microsoft's laptop.

"Our customers wanted a functional, intuitive device that includes a wide range of their favorite features, and that's what we've delivered with the Notebook 7 Spin (2018)", Samsung Electronics Senior VP of the PC Business Team, Mobile Communications Business YoungGyoo Choi said.
