Camila Cabello Reacts to Fifth Harmony's MTV VMAs Jab

"We always get asked all the time if we're getting a fifth member and we wanted to show the world in an artistic way that, hey, the four of us are Fith Harmony and we're stronger and better than we've ever been".

If he were to meet Cabello, John said he would tell her: "You make me happy... your records make me smile".

The brunette beauty has been busy carving out a solo career, with Fifth Harmony announcing her departure from the group last December. Before performing their song "Angel", the girls appeared on stage with a fifth person, who was quickly launched backwards off of a platform. "It makes me feel good, makes me want to get up and dance". Mostly, moody white guys like Ed Sheeran and Post Malone and newly minted hip-hop renegades like Migos and Cardi B-the only woman besides Swift to hold down the No. 1 spot in 2017, with her track "Bodak Yellow"- dominated airwaves.

Remember last year's MTV Video Music Awards?

Elton said this about Camila, "I just think she's going to have an wonderful year, cause she's ... just so much fun".

She told The NYT that she ultimately chose to go solo because Fifth Harmony wouldn't let her work on solo music while still being part of the group. "It became clear that it was not possible to do solo stuff and be in the group at the same time", she said.

While her friendship with the girls in the group has changed, the "Bad Things" singer has been making other friends in Hollywood. I was just like, 'What?

A peer most astutely compared Camila with Rihanna's untamed masterpiece ANTI, only on training wheels: Sure, she hits a few bumps without the added support of Fifth Harmony, but Cabello will confidently be riding solo in no time. "If you pull from all the different little parts of yourself, nobody can replicate that".

The 70-year-old music legend has tipped the former Fifth Harmony star to have an "amazing year" following the success of her chart-topping song "Havana" and with the release of her hotly-anticipated self-titled debut solo LP, which is released on Friday (12.01.18). I love your voice.
