Trump Lawyer Arranged $130000 Payout to Adult Film Actress in 2016

Donald Trump's long-term attorney Michael Cohen allegedly paid a six-figure amount to a porn star to remain silent on a sexual encounter with the United President in 2016.

Trump's longtime attorney Michael Cohen arranged for the payment through Clifford's lawyer, Keith Davidson, the Journal reported.

Billed as Stormy Daniels in her videos, she said the encounter with Trump took place in July 2006 after a celebrity golf tournament in Lake Tahoe, The Journal reported. Cohen even produced a signed statement from "Stormy Daniels" indicating that she did not have any type of relationship with the future president and received no hush money.

In the tumultuous last days of the presidential race, Ms Clifford was reported to have been in discussions with Good Morning America to disclose an alleged affair with Mr Trump. You have attempted to perpetuate this false narrative for over a year; a narrative that has been consistently denied by all parties since at least 2011, ' he reportedly said.

A former Playboy model, Karen McDougal sold the exclusive rights to her story about an affair with Trump to American Media Inc around the same time, according to The Wall Street Journal. Cohen, once one of Trump's most trusted aides, is no longer in regular contact with Trump - a distance forced by the Russian Federation investigations, in which Cohen has been entangled.

A separate statement, which Cohen provided and said was signed by Stormy Daniels, said the adult film star's relationship with Trump did not go further than several public appearances.

"It's old information being recycled", as "they had been published and denied explicitly before the election", a USA presidency official assured.

Three more sources corroborated the Trump-Daniels affair, the Daily Beast reports, including Daniels' neighbor and adult actress Alana Evans.

Trump's comments came behind closed doors while meeting with officials about immigration, U.S. media reports.

Trump - whose third wife, Melania, had given birth to their son, Barron, just months before - continued, "Come to the party, we're waiting for you", according to Evans.

A spokesperson for the US President also denied the report.

In their statements, neither the White House official nor Cohen addressed the alleged payment. "Daniels said she would be "[hanging] out with him later that night" and invited Evans to come along.
