Orlando's Arron Afflalo suspended 2 games for altercation with Minnesota's Nemanja Bjelica

Between yesterday's Ben Simmons-Kyle Lowry beef and the Houston Rockets' attempt to invade the Clippers' locker room, it's been a insane week in the Association...and it's only two days old. In wake of his missed haymaker thrown at Minnesota Timberwolves forward Nemanja Bjelica on Tuesday night, the league office has suspended the Orlando Magic guard for each of the next two games, according to Shams Charania of Yahoo Sports.

As a result, both players were ejected.

"It was nothing personal", Afflalo said of the scuffle to Victor Tan of the Orlando Sentinel. "I don't know him". Bjelica ran up to Afflalo near the free throw line and hit hit with both hands as he neared the rim, possibly to attempt a rebound. Minutes before the big fight, the two received double technical fouls.

After the game, Bjelica said that his response to Afflalo's punch was meant to calm his opponent down.

Afflalo did not give any statement about the incident immediately after the game. For what it's worth, the Magic improved to 13-31 on the season with a 108-102 victory over the T-Wolves, who fell to 29-17.
