Fallen Kingdom Launches A Second Trailer

Few people could have predicted how well Jurassic World would have done at the box office, but thanks to the ideal blend of charismatic casting, a good story and - most of all - a nostalgic spirit, it made an eye-watering amount and opened up a whole new fandom for the franchise.

Universal has released a one minute and 35 second long Super Bowl spot for Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom, hoping to inspire a little bit more excitement for the film than the initial trailer, which was met with mixed reviews, did.

Kingdom finds stars Chris Pratt and Howard returning to Jurassic World to rescue some dinos threatened by an erupting volcano. We are then transported to island of Isla Nublar, where Owen Grady (played by Chris Pratt) and his crew, attempt to save the dinosaurs from extinction before an impending volcanic eruption. Arriving on the unstable island as lava begins raining down, their expedition uncovers a conspiracy that could return our entire planet to a perilous order not seen since prehistoric times. Producers Frank Marshall and Pat Crowley once again partner with Spielberg and Trevorrow in leading the filmmakers for this stunning installment.

JA Bayona takes over the director's chair for the new movie, with James Cromwell, Ted Levine, Justice Smith, Toby Jones and Rafe Spall among the new faces.
