Adam Lallana freaks out, tries to choke opponent in Liverpool reserve game

He wasn't setting quite the right example for Liverpool's Under-23 side, who eventually lost the match 1-0 as Tottenham's Jack Rolls scored the only goal of the game after 55 minutes.

Adam Lallana will not be handed first-team ban after being sent off for the Liverpool Under-23s last night.

Unfortunately for him, it didn't last too long.

Lallana had suffered an injury setback following a long-awaited return from a groin problem.

Lallana was, of course, sent off for the incident, which followed a 50-50 challenge for a header with 19-year-old George Marsh.

Paul Joyce reports that the first-team trio will all feature in an attempt to get more minutes under their belts.

The England worldwide has played just 222 minutes of football this season and will be hoping that he can remain fit for the rest of the campaign and break into Jurgen Klopp's starting XI.

Gallacher is now hoping to establish himself as Liverpool's third choice left-back, behind Alberto Moreno and Andrew Robertson.

Lallana seemed to snap after the 50-50 challenge. Lallana will be hoping he can get back to the same form Wilshere's shown since. He obviously hates YOUR football team and has no interest in synchronised swimming.
