It is speculated that one of them could be the HTC U12 flagship smartphone.
Serial tipster Evan Blass took to Twitter claiming that the model in question is apparently the HTC U12, codenamed HTC Imagine.
As we wait for the inevitable successor to the U11 to be announced by HTC at some point this year, it appears that the handset has allegedly made an unofficial appearance during a 5G industry summit in Taiwan.
Last week, the company showcased an unannounced smartphone in its home country during a 5G event organized by a local carrier. Even the smartphone was kept on display for viewing, the company had covered its top and bottom portions.
The HTCU12 will have a 6-inch 1440x2880px Super LCD6 on the front and will likely use the Snapdragon 845 with 6GB of RAM.
Previous rumors suggested that the smartphone would sport a 4K display.
The event which also saw participation from Ericsson and Nokia witnessed unveiling of devices such as Vive PRO, Vive Focus along with unlisted virtual reality devices and other HTC phones.
HTC evidently brought its device to the event to show off gigabit LTE speeds using what's nearly certainly Qualcomm's Snapdragon 845 chipset. At the moment, the mystery phone can deliver an nearly 1 Gbps download speed (809.58 Mbps).
The Taiwanese company is probably hoping to capture the Android smartphone scene once again with their latest upcoming smartphone the HTC U12.
