Rumor: Mario Party 11 Could Be Releasing on Nintendo Switch In 2019

Following the release of last year's World War II, the Call of Duty series is officially back to it roots.

"Take this report with a grain of salt, but according to Marcus Sellars, who has a pretty fair track record, predicting numerous announcements, events and knew about Nintendo Labo ahead of time, said via a tweet that Call of Duty Black Ops 4 will be a modern, boots on the ground shooter".

The Nintendo Switch version will be ported by a development studio who is familiar with the Call of Duty franchise. According to a rumor circulating online, this year's game will be Call of Duty Black Ops 4.

While the game is claimed to be set in modern times, it's going to be boots on the ground, so can probably expect not to see futuristic machinery such as jetpacks in the game.

Call of Duty Black Ops 4 Coming in 2018? The Switch version will support DLC, HD Rumble and motion controls. It is rumored that this upcoming 2018 CoD game will be Call of Duty: Black Ops 4, which is said to launch for PC, PS4, Xbox One and Switch.

While Call of Duty: WWII did just come out a couple of months ago, all eyes are on what Activision intends to reveal next in the series. Sellars didn't specify whether or not the game would be part of Nintendo's FY'19 release slate (if the game releases before March 2019 it's part of FY19, if it releases after it'll be part of FY'20).

What makes this news more interesting is the mention of a Switch release.

The Black Ops series have always impressed FPS lovers with its unique offerings hence we are excited for Black Ops 4.

Previously, Sellars predicted that the Switch will get a remastered Dark Souls game.
