LaLiga: Philippe Coutinho speaks on Neymar's return to Barcelona

What happens when Paris' owner goes to Brazil to speak with Neymar remains to be seen, but it would be quite something if he departs after just a single campaign in the French capital.

Diario AS reported this week that Barca's rivals Real Madrid have already told Neymar's father, who also serves as his manager, that they are willing to meet PSG's asking price of €400m.

Neymar's father is the main negotiator for any potential move and will look to seal any deal before the season ends. Coutinho, who moved to Barcelona from Liverpool during the January transfer window, added to the speculation by claiming it would be great to play with his compatriot at club level.

Coutinho echoed the sentiments of Ivan Rakitic who had earlier said he would welcome Neymar back "right now". "It would be awesome to have him back".

Although PSG initially said he would return in a matter of weeks, doctors for the Brazil national side think it will be months before he is fit again.

Barca, meanwhile, are 11 points clear atop the La Liga table after 28 matches and head into their round of 16 second-leg clash with Chelsea all square at 1-1.

The Brazilian, 26, only joined Paris Saint-Germain from Barcelona for a world record £198million last summer.

Will De Gea be celebrating a move to PSG in the summer? With PSG demanding a fee close to €400 million, Nike can finance the deal for Real Madrid and help them secure the most sought-after talent in world football. Neymar did not feature in the game as he has been sidelined with a foot injury. He is also in a race against time to be fit for the World Cup in Russian Federation, which begins on June 14.
