This remaster includes downloadable content from the original game: two bonus missions, as well as the Master Templar and Explorer packs, which contain weapons, customization items and special outfits, including Bayek's legacy outfit from Assassin's Creed Origins.
Furthermore, if we are to put our tin foil hats on for a moment, a new Assassin's Creed heading to Greece may have already been publicly hinted at a year ago.
That's according to comicbook.com, who cite "several sources linked to Ubisoft".
Yesterday the first wave of rumours surrounding the next entry in the Assassin's Creed series appeared online, highlighting the potential setting of the yet-to-be-announced game.
Given how leaks seem to follow the Assassin's Creed franchise, and how majority turn out to be true, I wouldn't be surprised if this one turned out correct as well.
But it's equally possible the new game may sever direct connections with Origins and set itself in a different time period to make sure it gets the widest possible number of famous Ancient Greek characters.
Robertson's sources also say that the new game is scheduled to be released on PC, PS4 and Xbox One. A Switch version isn't totally ruled out yet, but the less powerful hardware in Nintendo's latest platform might prevent a Switch port.
