The injury angle could lead to Bryan's involvement in a big tag team match with Shane McMahon, Owens, and Zayn at WrestleMania 34, but it's possible that WWE officials may not allow Bryan to wrestle a full match so quickly after being cleared. Shortly after this Bryan chose to call it a career inside the ring and was moved to a non-physical role on WWE TV.
In an interview with Newsweek, neurosurgeon Dr. Robert Cantu said that when he examined Daniel Bryan, his brain showed no signs of injury. It's been a long hard road for Bryan, but he never gave up on his dream of returning, and now it's going to happen.
"I determined that Bryan is now asymptomatic, has a normal detailed neurological and cognitive neuropsychological examination, normal EEG, and an MRI that showed no definite evidence of a prior brain injury".
It is unknown what WWE potentially has in store for Hogan if he were to return to the company. There is a chance that he could return to his past WWE Ambassador role. Additionally, Smackdown Live General Manager Daniel Bryan is confirmed to be returning to the ring imminently. Cantu is one of the three experts that WWE's Dr. Joseph Maroon sent Bryan to in order to finally get cleared.
What are your thoughts on Bryan's doctor's comments regarding why he chose to clear him for an in-ring return? Well consider that done as on Tuesday afternoon everyone involved in making the decision at WWE saw fit to break the news that Bryan will wrestle again, and later on that very same day he was brawling with Kevin Owens and Sami Zayn on SmackDown Live.
