Latest Forecast: Rain And Snow Starts Wednesday Afternoon

The rest of this week will feature a very typical spring set-up. South winds will speed up the warming process through the morning and afternoon. A slight chance of showers is in the forecast for the Omaha area Friday night.

It's been a jackets and umbrellas kind of day with chilly temperatures and a steady rainfall.

Showers will continue through Wednesday morning but gradually become more isolated and end during the afternoon. The strongest storms will be likely from Paducah southwest to the south of Lubbock to near Seminole and areas south and east. Right now it looks as though it will be cool and cloudy for the sunrise service with temps in the mid to upper 40s.

More small rain chances and some colder air move in over Easter Weekend. It looks like we can push the timing back a little, though. These should not be an issue and may be short-lived.

Cooler temperatures return Friday with a chance for snow to mix in with showers through the early part of the day. Southwest Montana along with areas closer towards the divide will see mostly cloudy to cloudy skies today, northwest Montana will see a bit more sunshine today with partly sunny skies overhead. expect breezy conditions once again today with gusts around 20-25 miles per hour this afternoon. If we can clear out quick enough, we may actually get to 60°. Monday: Dry with a mix of sun and clouds, high in the low to mid 20s. Not a washout. High: 49-55.

Rain showers and scattered t-storms start up after 4 PM Monday evening into and last into the middle of Tuesday morning.

Saturday Night: Partly cloudy, with a low around 48. We expect a mostly cloudy sky with high in the low 80s today, with a 40% chance of showers & storms today, 80% chance tonight, then odds at 90% tomorrow with the peak of this event. Not a washout. High: 50-55.
