Klopp confident Salah will stay with Reds

Liverpool were on Friday pitted against Roma in the semifinal, while in the other tie, Real Madrid will play Bayern Munich.

In an interview with CNN he said that playing for Liverpool is "very special". "Now with the semifinal, it's two games to the last step". Roma are a fantastic side, as you saw against Barcelona.

Jürgen Klopp has hailed a record-breaking Premier League Player of the Month award win for Mohamed Salah, declaring: "He gives us all a good feeling".

Jurgen Klopp is adamant in-form Liverpool forward Mohamed Salah will still be at Anfield next season.

"But we didn't sit there and say, let's get rid of Sallah". Today, I think a lot of teams are probably kicking themselves in the head that they didn't take a closer look at him.

Salah moved to Liverpool from AS Roma last summer for a fee around €42m and has been in scintillating form this season, scoring 39 goals while assisting 11 in 44 games. That may be the case but the Liverpool manager is adamant his leading goalscorer will be an Anfield employee next season.

"I've said it before, it seems like our whole life is qualifying for the Champions League".

"If we now always start talking after a year and is it will he leave or whatever, then I don't think about".

"Yes, I'm confident. I know he will be here".

"We mature constantly. The boys get more and more used to situations like that", said Klopp after beating City for a third time in four meetings this season. "We have a chance to create something here for the future".

The Clarets collected nine points from three outings against Everton, West Ham and West Brom last month to cement a standing in seventh spot and remain in the hunt for European qualification. We are still young and full of potential and all that stuff. "They should have probably won four or five-nil - I was really impressed". That's my target, I want to score, I want to help the team to win again.

"It's a hard draw for both sides".

"We need to think of ourselves and do what we showed against Barcelona".
