The "standard" G6 is built around a Snapdragon 450 chipset coupled with 3GB/4GB of RAM and 32GB/64GB of internal storage.
"The display is 5.2" HD display and it comes with a Snapdragon 425/Snapdragon 427 depending on the market. It's not likely to be a powerhouse for 3D games and smooth multitasking, but it'll surely handle emails, texting, and streaming video just fine. The latter model is the least powerful of the trio but also ships with by far the lowest price tag and largest battery, and is generally geared toward providing the maximum value for money, pursuing that goal even more aggressively than the already affordable Moto G6 and Moto G6 Plus.
Moto G6 specifications Moto G6 sports a 5.7-inch FullHD extended display and runs Android 8.0 Oreo out of the box.
Also in the new range is the Moto G6 Play for Dollars 199, also launching first in Brazil and Mexico.
The Motorola Moto G5 has a 13-megapixel rear camera with phase detection autofocus, an aperture of f/2.0 and 1.1µm pixels. The 1.4 GHz Snapdragon 435 processor powers this phone with Adreno 505 GPU and 3 GB RAM. While the Moto G6 Play has an HD+ resolution, the Moto G6 and Moto G6 Plus come with full-HD+ screen resolution. Meanwhile, the G6 Plus ups the ante to a 5.9-inch display with a 1080p resolution.
Moto G6 Plus comes in Gold and Indigo Colors and will available in Brazil starting today.
Moto G6, G6 Plus and G6 Play launched, specifications and more
The Motorola Moto G5 started at £169 a year ago but Motorola has clearly chose to take its popular handset upmarket slightly with more storage for starters.
Compared to the rest, the battery is small at 2,800mAh. While the 2GB RAM version will ship with 16GB storage, the 3GB RAM version will come with 32GB storage. It has 4G VoLTE, WiFi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.2 and Global Positioning System connectivity. It has 2 GB of RAM and 16 GB of storage, which is expandable up to 256 GB, via a microSD card.
The G6 camera supports portrait mode with a selective blur that can be intensified and added to the front or background even after a photo's been shot.
They did just that, bringing on the original Moto G to rave reviews. Motorola's new offering can instead deliver FM radio functionality and offers a 3.5mm audio jack, though its charging and data transfer port is still a Micro-USB affair, whereas the other two devices from the new lineup transitioned to a USB Type-C connector. Besides it has Fingerprint Reader, Proximity, Accelerometer, Ambient Light, Magnetometer (e-Compass) sensors. Sales will be coming to Europe, Asia, and South America in a few months. We're still to receive any news regarding a United States release, but the phone will be released in Europe during the first week of May at 199 Euros (around $240), available in Charcoal, Dark Blue and Gold.
The two E5 phones will only be available through carriers in the United States, although they could come from any carrier.
All these phones are now available in Brazil and will be available United States and other countries in coming months. As we saw with the Moto Z2 Play previous year, the "Play" moniker no longer means "slightly cheaper with a huge battery" as much as it just means "the lowest-end model in the lineup" - and that rings true here.
