Princess Charlotte steals the show at brother's birth — Twitter meltdown

As she got out of the family auto, William whispered to her to give the waiting media a wave and she was more than eager to oblige, her face lit up by a sweet little smile.

Two-year-old Princess Charlotte has never failed to turn on the royal charm. Prince William was once again photographed leaving the hospital's Lindo Wing after spending a couple of minutes with Princess Diana and Prince Harry.

Princess Charlotte melted hearts around the world today as she warmly greeted fans with an adorable royal hand wave out the front of London's St Mary's Hospital.

Prince William, who drove himself in a Range Rover to the London hospital, first got Prince George out of the vehicle.

At yesterday's ANZAC Day service, Prince William let slip a clue about the new Prince's moniker, revealing it's "a strong name". Before going in, the little princess turned around for a last wave and grin, to a chorus of "awwwwws" from onlookers.

Holding on tight to his fathers hand, Prince George was a little more reserved than his sister.

It looks like Charlotte is totally owning her place in line for the throne.

Meanwhile, side-by-side photos of Prince George, Princess Charlotte, and their youngest sibling have recently been released.

And it was no different when she arrived all smiles to meet her new baby brother in hospital.

There was a concern this morning that the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge might leave their children at home rather than bring them to hospital in case they find the hundreds of photographers intimidating.
