Curry return 'probable' as Warriors shoot for 2-0 lead vs Pelicans

We'll have to wait and see what shakes out, but what we do know is that barring any kind of insane setback, Curry will be in the game on Tuesday. Additionally, while Kerr has ceased declaring starting lineups prior to gametime for the playoffs, Curry is fully expected to play and will be without a minutes restriction.

But it will be good for Curry to get back into game shape ahead of what's likely to be a matchup with the Houston Rockets in the Western Conference Finals. The Warriors looked awfully dominate without the services, shooting ability, and leadership of Steph Curry on the floor on Saturday.

The fifth-year forward had himself a night on Saturday, doing just about everything en route to the 123-101 stifling of the Pelicans.

"Just not suck after missing five weeks", Curry said, according to Marc Spears of The Undefeated. Golden State has an opportunity to take a commanding series lead Tuesday night.

Curry took part in a team scrimmage Sunday and was able to go through practice once again Monday without issue, so coach Steve Kerr has now upgraded his star point guard's status to probable.

Klay Thompson finished the game as the leading scorer for the Warriors with 27 points, Anthony Davis had 21 for the Pelicans.
