Kanye West Says Slavery was a Choice

The rapper stopped by the TMZ newsroom on Tuesday morning and made the controversial remarks, while also talking about rappers loving Donald Trump before he became president.

The rapper revealed he was "hurt" when Jay-Z and Beyoncé did not attend his May 24, 2014, wedding to Kim Kardashian.

He continued, "The reason why I dropped those tweets and everything is because I was drugged the f-k out bro, and I'm not drugged out ... these pills that they want me to take three of a day, I take one a week maybe, two a week". "If we're family, if we're brothers, if we are family, then it's my family. One of the things that she heard was they were coming to rob her, but they had to wait until I had left". "I love Trump. You look at Snoop Dogg who said he loved Trump but as soon as he gets in office we don't love Trump". "Actually, the money he got (was) from Live Nation".

Kanye says there were a few things bothering him at that time, one of which was that the tracks off his album, Life of Pablo, were not getting played on the radio as much as he would have liked.

"I just love Trump, that's my boy", he added. I need information more than validation, more than finance....

When asked what caused his mental break down, Kanye had this to say, "Fear, stress, being controlled, manipulation...."

West addressed his 2016 hospitalization, an incident he prefers to call a "breakthrough" rather than a "breakdown". "I'm happy to have gone to the other side and back".

T.I., in response: "Your intentions, from what you tell me, are pure, but the direction that you took to get there is a bit unorthodox and kind of - I would say, some people would say - thoughtless..."

"If the Crips beat up Kanye West for wearing that red hat, that's their business", someone said.

The threat from Dillinger - whose real name is Delmar Drew Arnaud - comes on the heels of West expressing support for President Trump's vision to make America great again.
