BYU golf: BYU receives at-large bid to Norman Regional

The Mississippi State and Ole Miss men's golf teams earned berths Wednesday in NCAA Championships.
Joining the Waves at Ralphs-Straus Tennis Center to begin the single-elimination formatted tournament on May 11-12 will be No. 18 Kansas and unranked Idaho and Denver.
Both the Ohio State men's and women's teams have done enough to get a shot in the NCAA tournament, and we have the details. The victor of the four-team regional will advance to the Round of 16 in the Wake Forest Tennis Complex in Winston-Salem, North Carolina and compete for the national championships from May 17-22. Pepperdine will take on Idaho in the opening round at 1 p.m. PT, while the Jayhawks and Pioneers will compete at 10 a.m. PT.
As Sooner junior Blaine Hale says in the premiere of "Driven", "I know there's going to be some serious tension when we get on the first tee and hear, 'Defending national champions, Oklahoma, ' when we're at Stillwater on their golf course". Kendziera becomes the second Illini in program history to win the honor three times in a single season.
KU made the NCAA Tournament field for the 10th time in program history. He finished the regular season with seven-straight top-15 finishes. "We're ready to go compete and we're ready to have a chance to win".
The full bracket will be released toward the end of the NCAA team championship, which is slated to be played on May 22. "We're definitely going to prepare ourselves to give them our best crack at it". The 'Bows punched their NCAA tourney ticket after winning their first ever Big West Tournament title this past Sunday at the Indian Wells Tennis Garden.
Other notable teams competing include, the No. 12 ranked University of Illinois, No. 24 ranked University of Nevada-Las Vegas as well as Wake Forest, Northwestern, Penn State, the University of Tennessee, Louisville, Michigan State and more.
North Carolina (26-3), which won the ACC Tournament in Cary last weekend, is the No. 2 seed and will play in Chapel Hill next Friday versus MEAC champion Morgan State (12-12) in a first-round match.
