In a bid to offer more screen space to the user, many smartphone manufacturers have launched phones with notch design. Previously, there have been numerous leaks and rumors about the smartphone along with speculated features and specifications.
This is where the Vivo NEX comes in, a device that breaks all established notions when it comes to contemporary bezel-less design.
The Vivo X20 UD and X21 UD respectively feature first and second-generation in-display fingerprint scanner. First, it was the in-display fingerprint scanner, and now it's time for a Full Screen display smartphone with sliding front-facing camera and a whopping 91.24% screen-to-body ratio.
The Vivo NEX A features the same display, camera, software, connectivity and battery as the NEX S. The NEX A is powered by an octa-core Snapdragon 710 SoC based on 10nm process paired with Adreno 616 GPU. The internal storage is 128GB.

So where did the speaker, the front camera and the fingerprint scanner go? The X20 worked superbly with Synaptics fingerprint sensor, but the multi-finger sensor inside the Vivo Apex wasn't quite so successful. The dual camera system of the Vivo NEX is equipped with AI capabilities for scene identification, HDR, filters and photo composition.
NEX incorporates AI technology that makes the smartphone truly smart. The phone also has a dedicated button for Vivo's own AI assistant named Jovi. It runs on Android 8.1 Oreo with Funtouch OS 4.0 on top.
