Fran Fraschilla breaks down Luka Doncic's current National Basketball Association comparison

It's unsurprising to hear then that one team in the top three picks of the draft is looking at taking him.

Thanks to winning Game 4 of the ACB Finals on Tuesday night, Doncic will be at the 2018 NBA Draft on Thursday night and for some Americans, it will be their first real look at the Slovenian point-forward. These picks are not necessarily the moves I would make as GM, although I will advocate for several of the proposed selections.

For the Hawks, pulling Doncic would be an absolute fantasy for this particular, as a recent plea to Hawks GM Travis Schlenk would indicate.

The 19-year-old Doncic, the youngest EuroLeague MVP ever, capped a historic season for Real Madrid with a championship series victory in the ACB League in Spain. The four-year University of Cincinnati standout, reigning American Athletic Conference Player of the Year and fan favorite among the Bearcat faithful has spent June flying all over the country to work out for a dozen National Basketball Association teams.

Sure, he might come in with a bit of an ego, but if you were the king of European basketball before you hit your 20s, wouldn't you have a little bit of swagger about you?
