How Prince William Earned ‘Street Cred’ With Son Prince George

'Prince Louis will be christened by The Archbishop of Canterbury, the Most Reverend Justin Welby'.

Since his birth on April 23, young Prince Louis of Cambridge has stayed mostly (and understandably) out of the spotlight. Kate Middleton was also confirmed into the Church of England in a private service at St. James's Palace in the weeks leading up to her 2011 marriage to Prince William.

The mother-of-three is taking time off from royal engagements in order to spend time with her sons and Princess Charlotte, three.

The next time we see the little Prince will be on July 9, the day of his christening and another very important date for the Royal family.

Heir to the throne George was snapped in red shorts and a white embroidered top arriving for his sister's christening in July 2015.

What will Prince Louis wear at his christening?

Both Prince Louis' siblings were baptized by the Archbishop of Canterbury, Prince George in St James's Palace and Princess Charlotte at St Mary Magdalene Church in Sandringham House.

George held William's hand, while baby Charlotte was pushed by Kate in a vintage pram, previously used for two of the Queen's children.

Details of the godparents are yet to be announced but it's thought Prince Harry and new bride Meghan Markle won't get called up to the duty.

"Judging by the previous christenings, and the importance of the day for the family, Louis' christening will be a private affair - perhaps no surprise there", the expert said. Ahead of the wedding, Welby baptized Meghan.

We're sure his wife Kate, kids, George, Charlotte and Louis, as well as the whole royal family will celebrate with him today, many people have been celebrating the day on Twitter by posting collages, throwbacks and amusing gifs.
