Samsung Ghana launches 4 new affordable smartphones with flagship features

I've owned three previous Samsung Galaxy Note handsets so will be watching this launch with interest.

One of the rumors going around is that the Galaxy Tab S4 will be available in both black and gray color options. It is powered by an octa-core Exynos 7870 SoC clocked at 1.6GHz, coupled with Mali T830 MP1 GPU and 4GB of RAM.

Without any obvious way to unlock the device, the image hints that Samsung will continue with its iris scanner. While future for tablets seems to be ChromeOS we are lucky that Samsung are still pushing the Android wheelbarrow with their tablets otherwise there would be nothing worthwhile around. It comes with a wide-angle 8MP sensor with dedicated LED flash, which is very beneficial while capturing selfies under low-light conditions. It has an onboard storage of 32 GB and a microSD card slot for additional storage. Specifications Talking about the specifications, the Samsung Galaxy On6 comes with a 5.6-inch HD+ Infinity Edge display with the aspect ratio of 18:5:9. Galaxy On6 will be available on Flipkart and Samsung Online Shop and sports a price tag of Rs 14,490. The smartphone runs on Android 8.0 Oreo operating system and it is backed up by 3000mAh battery. The camera on the front can be used for taking selfies and making video calls via other third-party apps like Skype, WhatsApp, Hangouts, Messenger, etc.

The device appears to be thinner than the Galaxy Tab S3, with a single camera on the rear of the device and AKG audio technology. The smart-phone has 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth v4.2, GPS/ A-GPS, Micro-USB, and a 3.5mm headphone jack. The cashback amount will reflect in the MyJio account of the user after recharging with Rs. 198 or Rs. 298.

It is unlikely that Barnes and Noble will pick this up and market it as the Samsung Galaxy Tab 4 for Nook, since the Samsung contract expired at the end of 2016. Let us know your thoughts by posting your comments below.
