Explosive Trump interview adds to chaos on 1st British visit

Downing Street has not yet reacted to Trump's remarks, the BBC reported. During his visit to the country, which included a dinner with Prime Minister Theresa May, Londoners came out in the thousands to protest the US president.

She said Brexit was an "unprecedented opportunity" to create growth in the United Kingdom and U.S. Trump also said the prime minister "wrecked" Brexit after he told her how to do it, and again attacked London Mayor Sadiq Khan and Europe generally for allowing migrants and "terrorists" into their borders.

Despite saying a blimp depicting Mr Trump as a whingeing nappy-clad baby had made him feel unwelcome in London he is expected to be playing golf while Saturday's protests take place.

Together against Trump: People take part in an anti-Trump protest in London on Friday. I did give Theresa, who I like-I did give her my views on what she should do and how she should negotiate.

Sarah Elliott, chairwoman of Republicans Overseas UK, told CNN she did not think Trump would be fazed by the stunt.

Trump said his respect for the queen is hereditary. The US looks forward to finalising a great bilateral trade agreement with the UK. Before meeting the queen, he called her an "incredible woman" and said he was excited to meet with her.

The president said Mrs May "can't walk away" from exit talks with the European Union, though suggested she could use other methods to secure a good deal.

"It's not that we think that's a likely scenario. but we think it's prudent that every member state should plan for the worst", he told local media RTE while attending a meeting on rural development issues in the country's western county of Mayo.

"I didn't criticise the prime minister". "I think it is important for him to see it... it will show the people that he is prejudiced against that we are behind them".

"No, if they do that I would say that that would probably end a major trade relationship with the United States". "I haven't been there in a long time".

Thousands of people have also gathered in various cities around the country to protest against his visit.

"I guess when they put out blimps to make me feel unwelcome, no reason for me to go to London", Trump said.
