Bristol Palin reportedly joining 'Teen Mom' cast

Bristol Palin is joining MTV's "Teen Mom OG", according to TMZ, which was the first to report that she has signed on to be a regular cast member on the MTV show.

"I am excited to join MTV's 'Teen Mom OG, '" Bristol captioned the Instagram image above, with her munchkins and the MTV crew.

As you may remember, back in 2008, her mother, Sarah Palin ran for Vice President, and the public has been paying a lot more attention to her daughter ever since. She also has two daughters, Sailor, 2, and Atlee, 1, with hubby Dakota Meyer.

MTV did not confirm to HuffPost whether Sarah Palin will be a presence on the reality show. Palin also appeared as an unscripted teenager in the drama series "The Secret Life of the American Teenager".

Giving Us Weekly a piece of her mind in the "swipe up" link, Abraham, who was sacked from the show last season, said: 'I don't care as there's no replacement for me, as we all know'.

Bristol will join cast members Amber Portwood, McKenzie McKee, Maci Bookout and Catelynn Lowell. "Abraham was referencing the loss of her pomeranian, Blue".

'It was unsuccessful and now with another teen mom, they can keep trying to replace but there is not a replacement for me [sic]'.

Abraham claims the show let her go because she is an adult entertainer. She gave birth to a daughter in December of that year.

"I don't think anyone realizes how hard it really is until you actually have a screaming baby in your arms and you're up all night", Bristol told the Associated Press in 2010.
